Why do I let these things frustrate me so damn much?!?!
I like xanga because it sends me my friends posts directly to my email. On this one, I have to remember their blogspot or go to Jeff's and search through their comments to find them. Am i doing something wrong? Grrr....

Yeah, I can understand liking Xanga for the e-mail thing, but I have a few reasons for digging blogspot a little more...
1.) I find the update system a little easier to work with and the ability to edit your messages easier to pull off than it was on Xanga.
2.) I love the links along the side of the page to individual posts and months much more than Xanga's clunkier system.
3.) Simpler URLs. I dig that "jeffmac813.blogspot.com" is all there is. :)
4.) The banner at the top is way smaller, and doesn't distract as much from the page itself.
On the downside, posting images is a lot harder than it was on Xanga. So there's pros and cons to each host. Personally, blogspot has been pretty good to me so far, so I'm sticking with it. But I'll keep visiting ya either way, mi amiga!
One more thing - turns out, you can be notified by e-mail on Blogspot when you get a message. Just go to your Settings page, and click on "Comments." At the bottom, there's a place for you to enter your e-mail addy. Also, you can make it so anyone can comment on your posts...as I have done now, so no, you don't HAVE to be a Blogspot subscriber to write me now, okay? :)
