How old am I?
I discovered something very interesting about myself today. For the first 5 years of my life, I didn't exist.
Yep, that's right. I didn't exist.
At least, not according to the government.
While signing me up for preschool, my mother went to the health department to get my and my sister's birth certificates. The woman behind the counter said "Well, we have a Stephanie but no Lindsey on record." (This was in 1984--oooh, weird.) Turns out, the doctor that delivered me never signed my birth certificate. So on it, it has my correct birthdate yet it says it was filed on March 13, 1984.
So, for five years, I didn't exist.
Kinda makes you think.
